Mesothelioma Cancer
This rare type of cancer is found in patients that used to work with or around places where asbestos was present. Perhaps you have seen an old school or factory that was heated with steam and around the steam pipes there was insulation that was white and may have crumbled and fell apart. That insulation may have contained asbestos fibers and dust.

It took researchers many years to make the connection because asbestos works slowly and may not cause health problem for years later. But even though it was discovered there was a connection many companies did not take steps to protect workers from exposure and they later got mesothelioma lung cancer. This is the reason there are so many law suits as older people are diagnosed with this deadly cancer. The patients were not warned or protected and not face mounting medical bills.
